Introduction

The Standard Islamic Narrative (SIN) is rapidly falling apart as evidence mounts that its historicity is fraudulent. Dr. Jay Smith gives us that evidence in a series of videos from his polemics ministry called, Pfander Films.

Historical Timeline

  • Jerusalem during the Byzantine period (from about 335) likely consisted of only Christians.
  • During the 400s to 600s rule of Jerusalem shifted from Byzantine to Persian and back to Byzantine.
  • Byzantine chronicles record that in the year 614, Persians (Zoroastrian) and Jews slaughtered tens of thousands of Christians in the city, destroying monuments and churches.
  • There is no evidence that a man named ‘Muhammad’ existed in the region claimed by the SIN.
  • There is no evidence that a city called ‘Mecca’ existed in the region claimed by the SIN.
  • In 629, Byzantium reconquered Jerusalem from the Sasanian Persians. At this time Arabs were a combination of Jewish, Christian, and Abrahamist religions and were called Saracens or Ishmaelites.
  • Coins during the supposed Rashidun period (632-661) do not exist. None were minted in the name of these ‘Caliphs’. All coins in the region were Sasanid.
  • In 638, Arabs took Jerusalem and allowed Jews back in the city. They were likely a vassal state under Persian rule.
  • In 639, the Umayyad, Mu’awiya became the governor of Greater Syria, which would coincide with that premise. Greater Syria is the pre-1914 name for present-day Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan.
  • Maronite Chronicle (660s) an anonymous annalist chronical in the Syriac language completed shortly after 664.
    • refers to Mhmd’s throne,
    • refers to events of 660, written in 664
    • “Many Arabs gathered at Jerusalem and made Mu’awiya king and he went up and sat down on Golgotha; he prayed there and went to Gethsemane and went down to the tomb of the blessed Mary to pray in it.”
    • “He placed his throne in Damascus and refused to go to Mhmd’s throne.” (This could possibly mean that he refused to rule from Jerusalem, Mhmd’s throne. He was made king of Jerusalem, but chose to rule from Damascus.)
    • the throne is the Mercy Seat on the top of the Ark of Covenant
    • the cross figuratively became the Mercy Seat.
    • This Mhmd cannot be “Muhammad” because he died in 632 according to the SIN. So he didn’t have a throne in 660.
    • Damascus was the seat of the Umayyad Empire.
  • Mu’awiya I (661-680)
    • An Arian Christian
    • Longtime governor of Syria, 639-661
    • His title was Commander of the Believers or Commander of the Faithful
    • The title “Caliph” not used until al Malik 685-705, which means there were no Caliphates either.
    • Caliph means successor
    • Coins minted 674 were Sasanian, in his name. The obverse side has a portrait of the Sasanian Shah, Khosrow II (590-628) and his name in Pahlavi (Persian) script.
    • Inscription calls Mu’awiya servant of God and Commander of the believers and has a cross in the inscription he could have been named after Queen Mavia who was a Christian/Arab ruler from a few centuries earlier.
  • Yazid I (680-683)
    • coins minted 680-681, the year of the Battle of Karbala (2nd Fitna), were Sasanian, struck at Bazra mint
    • The obverse side shows the portrait of the Sasanian shah Khosrow II (590-628) and his name in Pahlavi script
    • Basra is a port city in southern Iraq, near Iran/Iraq border
  • Mu’awiya II (683-684)
    • coins same, Sasanian with shah Khosrow II
  • Marwan I (684-685)
    • coins drachma’s, Sasanian with Khosrow
  • Abd al-Malik (685-705)
    • invented Islam
    • was the head of the Umayyad Empire ruling from Damascus, and he was an Arian Christian.
    • He was looking for a way to legitimize his rule.
    • Coins with crosses from this period

Conclusion

Islam was invented in the late 7th century by the Arian Christian, Abd al-Malik, in an effort to legitimize the Umayyad Dynasty. Al-Malik invented ‘Muhammad’ the prophet from the Arabic word ‘machmed’ (mhmd), which meant ‘the anointed one’. The city of Mecca was also created in the late 7th century as a place for the newly created ‘Muslims’ to pilgrimage to.

The legend of the warrior prophet, Muhammad, grew into one of the most violent religious movements in human history.

It is our sincere prayer that the followers of Islam come home to their Saviour, Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ).

May you be blessed by this study. Shalom.
